Baseball & Softball-Hitting/Fielding

Our combined hitting/fielding sessions focus on the core fundamentals of hitting, throwing and fielding.  Various hitting drills utilized by the instructors will help apply mechanics of stance, contact and finish of the swing.  The fielding and throwing portions of these sessions will teach proper footwork, arm motion and hand/glove mechanics.

Baseball- Pitching

These sessions will focus on creating consistent mechanics and delivery when pitching from the wind-up along with balance, arm motion and finish.

Baseball- Pitching (13+ Groups)

These clinics will focus on developing consistent mechanics from the wind-up and stretch deliveries.  In addition, these sessions will work to introduce and/or refine the change up as a secondary pitch.  Instructors in this clinic will focus on skills needed to hold runners on from the stretch and pick-off moves to all bases.

Baseball & Softball-Hitting

These sessions will work through mechanics of the swing as well as approach and pitch recognition in order to improve contact rate, power and consistency.

Fast-Pitch Softball-Pitching

Our fast-pitch softball pitching clinics are designed to introduce the younger group of players to the motion, grip and mechanics of pitching.  The older pitching sessions will focus on refining pitching mechanics and working on location and secondary pitches.

The catching sessions will promote sound stance and receiving the baseball.  Catchers will be taught the fundamentals to work on increasing proficiency when  blocking balls and proper mechanics when transitioning from receiving to throwing to bases.

The specialized fielding programs are designed specifically for the infield positions.  Our instructors will focus on skills to promote footwork and hands as well as reading hops and forehand and backhand work.  In addition, stance, balance and transitions will be taught for feeding and receiving double plays at various positions.

Live Batting Practice

During the provided time slots, our team at Anchor Sports will provide a dedicated staff member to throw batting practice to registrants.  This requires a weekly signup and is limited to one-hour sessions for 13-18 year olds.  Each hour will be limited to 4 participants.
